Description:

A Scheme Manager is urgently needed by a Housing Group based in Kent. You will co-ordinate a professional service to thetenants and manage the scheme on a day to day basis in line with the Group's performance standards.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:1. To provide an effective provision to facilities, services and housing management to the scheme.2. To ensure effective resourcing and organisation of people at work, operating within equal opportunities policy andprocedures.3. Ensures the effective monitoring and evaluation of activities against agreed standards is carried out to ensure thedelivery of quality services.4. To ensure an understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice and implement all internal policies ensuringcompliance and best practice.5. To assist in involving tenants and residents in the running of the scheme and to integrate the scheme in the localcommunity.6. To ensure there is the provision to tenants and residents a range of services that enhances quality of life andsupports independence.7. To provide a clean environment for tenants and residents, ensuring their physical safety.8. To actively contribute to the process of improving existing services and providing new services to tenants and thewider community.You must have relevant experience of working with the elderly or in a similar environment.Relevant experience of working with figures and money.Initiative and diplomacy.Experience of effective communication at all levels.Recruiting, selection and induction experience desirable.A broad education and the relevant experience is required and a basic first aid qualification is desirable.If you have the relevant experience and would like a more information and a more detailed job description, then pleasesend your CV to Claire ASAP!
