My clients, the number one in their space are specialists in Electro-Mechanical products for aerospace and defence organisations. Their inventory of over 18,000 lines on both common and specialist components is unrivalled. Their dedication to customer service ensures they provide a fast response to all their clients' requirements. They recognise that sourcing components is time consuming for buyers and engineers alike. They therefore provide a service to allow them to manage their customers components supply - they offer the following services. Scheduled deliveries, Buffer stock holding, Same / next day delivery, Firm price contracts up to 5 years, Generic sourcing of all manufacturers, OEM pricing Technical support, MOQ solutions. Having successfully been in business for the last 24 years they are now seeking to recruit a strong business development Manager to drive the business forward and cement their position as the number one supplier of connectors to the Aerospace and Defence Market space. As a Sales Manager you will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will be relied upon to source new business by generating and converting leads into concrete sales selling Military Connectors into the Major Aerospace and Defence companies. You will be required to professionally manage and grow existing enterprise accounts and develop new accounts with the objective of growing and sustaining future business. As well as covering the initial stages of the sales cycle, you will also be involved with face-to-face customer contact both on and off site. With a consultative approach to sales you will engage the decision makers with a solution based ethos able to integrate your technology offering directly into their organisation infrastructure. For this role you are required to have a minimum of 2 years Technical Design sales experience selling Connectors and Relays into the Aerospace and Defence Market space. Effective presentation, time management and negotiation skills. PC literate (Word, Excel, Maximizer, Internet), diplomatic, tenacious, motivated ambitious with excellent interpersonal skills.
