Sales EngineerIdealpeople are delighted to present a unique opportunity for an experienced and technically-minded pre-sales engineer.Our client are leading the fight against hackers, fischers, viruses and spam, and seek a committed, passionate individualto have involvement at all stages of the product development process.The ideal individual is the kind of person who can bridge the gap between the technology and the customer, combiningtechnical know-how with a keen sales focus. The role will involve explaining complex topics to partners, prospects andcustomers in a clear and coherent format, with a goal of convincing them to buy, re-sell or recommend our clientsproducts.The main duties of the position include qualifying of sales opportunities, assessing customer needs and designingtechnical specifications based on those needs. You will address any customer queries or concerns within the developmentcycle, and devise and deliver training to the sales force responsible for selling the product.Experience within the technical pre-sales environment is a pre-requisite of this role, along with experience workinglarge enterprise account opportunities. A technical background within the security or messaging space would be a hugeadvantage.The ideal candidate would also possess some systems administration experience and knowledge of enterprise anti- virussoftware.In return for these attributes our client offer an excellent package and the opportunity to join an organisation thatalready dominate their marketplace, and due to the increase in spam and viruses, look set to continue their trend ofconstant growth. Based in the Oxford area, with some travelling involved, the right candidate would work from ourclients' GBP 32 million pound headquarters, in the Oxfordshire countryside.
