Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Hardware Engineer capable of taking technical design responsibility within embedded hardware projects. You are a self-starter, able to use initiative and take responsibility. Outstanding technical capabilities are required along with a good understanding of commercial issues. Also proven technical leadership capabilities with design responsibility in teams. You will have 5 years+ experience in a product development environment and a 1st or 2.1 honours degree from a good engineering university plus demonstrable capabilities in most of the following areas: Hardware design experience of advanced processors/DSPs, use of FPGAs, High-speed memory, Hardware/software system level design, practical experience of combining analogue and digital electronics, working knowledge of embedded C/C++, management of CAD layout processes.
