Description:

Research and Development Technician: You will have a successful track record working in a telecoms product development environment and proven ability of delivering solutions on time and to budget; Able to design for high volume, reliability and ease of manufacture. Strong communications skills including authorship of qualification plans and manufacturing test documentation. 5+ years experience in product development engineering and minimum HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline. Experience in calibration / operation of RF test equipment including signal generators, spectrum analysers and network analysers. Design verification of RF circuits from written specs; Able to align power amplifiers / other RF system components; Trained to IPC standards in assembly of PCBs including soldering of surface mounted components. Able to produce written technical reports to high standards; Experience as part of a Transceiver or Power Amplifier product development team; Able to carry out unsupervised 2.5G/ 3G transmitter testing.
