Research & Development Scientist, Ref: 12689Our client is a leading manufacturer and developer of laundry and dishwashing products. They currently have a vacancy fora formulation chemist within their technical centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.The technical centre is home to the global laundry process innovation group and develops new laundry and dishwashingproducts. The site researches the chemistry of surface-active ingredients; sequestrants and bleaches, whilst powderprocessing, mixing, agglomeration and spray drying are also key areas of process technology.The role will involve work on your own projects and as part of an overall project team. The ability to bring technicalknowledge to bare on problems and conceive innovative solutions would also be of benefit.The successful candidate will be a fairly recent graduate in either Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry; andshould exhibit skills such as creativity, innovation, initiative, communication, leadership and the ability to work withothers.Role: PermanentLocation: Newcastle upon TyneSalary: GBP 16,000 - GBP 18,000 per annum
