.:My client, an international IT services and product manufacturing organisation, is currently looking for a Reliability/Design Quality Engineer. In this key role, you will support the early engagement of product improvement methods and techniques in all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at sub-system level. You will track NPI activity and work with sub-systems engineers to identify actions for design and function improvement. In addition, you will be required to prepare sub-system design verification and validation strategies and plans and to develop sub-system life-test methods. The ideal candidate will have:- Previous experience within a product design quality assurance role- Strong knowledge of design improvement analysis (design failure, prediction, estimation, allocation)- Preferably a good understanding of Taguchi methods / Design of Experiments (DOE)- Knowledge of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design for Manufacturing- Ideally conversant with Function/Fault Tree Analysis- Any knowledge of DFLSS is highly desirableThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established, global organisation and further your career in engineering.
