Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to appoint a Relationship DevelopmentManager. This is a fundamental role and an opportunity to work within a newly reformed team who are committed tomaximising productivity and growth in 2005. The key purpose of this position is to identify and drive businessdevelopment with new and existing customers across a variety of team customer portfolios, to maximise the growth anddiversity of services we offer.Barclays Larger Business works in partnership with organisations whose turnover exceeds GBP 10m/annum, providing support andbusiness solutions. Our business customers are prioritised by sector, with each customer assigned a specialist SupportTeam.On a day to day basis, you will assist Directors with product knowledge, sales research and customer relationshipdevelopment initiatives. You will be relied upon for your market and industry knowledge and risk management skills tocollectively formulate and offer bespoke solutions to customers.You will also co-ordinate the evaluation and execution of large structured transactions, using your own initiative aswell as in conjunction with a Relationship Manager.Business development, corporate relationship and research skills within retail or business banking are advantageous.
