Description:

This position will include the following responsibilities:Promote a health & safety culture throughout the business supporting and demonstrating best practice within businessconstraints;Support the Health and Safety strategic direction of the company and give support in meeting those related objectives;Maintain and develop the Company Occupational Health and Safety management system to ensure compliance by all businessunits;Monitor Health & Safety Executive compliance across all business units;Produce comprehensive reports on compliance to the Company Health and Safety Manager;Undertake HSE audits, as necessary, across all business units;Deliver training in HSE related topics as required by the Company;A wide range of knowledge and skills in engineering and/or transport construction within a management role will benecessary to fulfil this role. A health and safety and/or training qualification, or experience in a similar businesssector would be beneficial. The 24/7 operation will require a significant amount of travel and overnight accommodation.
