Description:

RoleResponsible for managing a team of up to 10 individuals Responsibility of delivering up to 20 projects concurrently to time and to budget Daily management of projects reporting to Project Manager Design and Design Management from inception to completion Supervising and managing senior/assistant engineers and technicians Liaison with other members of project teams both internal and external Liaise with internal and external sub contractors Involvement with cost management, tenders, invoicing of projects Client presentations Circa 50% of time will be spent on Design. Key CompetenciesSkills: CAD (AutoCAD) Qualifications:Degree qualified with an civil/structural engineering related degree Experience: Minimum of 8 years engineering experience and a minimum of 4 years within a rail environment. Solid design background Good design experience and breadth of bridge/embankment/earthworks & stations. Experience of working with contractors would be beneficial.
