Quantity Surveyor Rail - RugbyThe client:My client operates in a number of markets within the public sector. They are particularly prominent in the rail industryDue to a significant work load on the West Coast Main Line project my client urgently needs a principal surveyor to joinan existing team based in RugbyThe Job:My client are current involved on the track renewals contract, which is valued at GBP 40m per annum. They currently have twoteams based in Crewe and Rugby and this position will involve being based in Rugby on a permanent basisThe team currently has a Senior Surveyor who will be moving away from the project within the next 18months, therefore myclient requires an experienced quantity surveyor who can learn from the Senior Surveyor before taking over his roleThe position ideally suits someone who is frustrated in there current role and is looking to be fast tracked to a SeniorQuantity Surveyor positionRequirements:A formal qualification (BSc or HNC/HND) would be an advantageThe ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 6 years experience with a contractorAlthough Rail experience would be a distinct advantage my client is happy to consider candidates with experience inconstruction, civil engineering or utilitiesRemuneration:Up to GBP 33,000 per AnnumCar or Car AllowancePension SchemeBUPA Health CarePlease call Danny Mehta at Project Resource to discuss this role and other Quantity Surveying positions.
