Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Disciplined Contractor - GBP 30,000 ICE/NEC/Target Cost/SSM7.My client is perhaps one of the most renowned contractors both in the UK and on an international level, providingconstruction and support services to both the private and public sectors.The company is multi-disciplined offering total infrastructure solutions inclusive of the rail, highways, water andutilities sectors.Due to ongoing success and continued expansion the company have a vacancy for a quantity surveyor in their WestYorkshire, Leeds.PROJECTS:Projects range on average between GBP 100,000 and GBP 5 million, and the successful candidate can expect to work on the groundremediation and foundations for Doncaster Stadium. Previous projects have included the design and construction of a 6kmmotorway as part of a joint venture, estimated to be worth GBP 247 million.ROLE: Bidding, Tendering, Valuations, Taking off, Sub Contractor Payments, Bills of Quantity, Budgetary Cost Control, Preparations of Contracts, Commercial / Contracts risk assessments.REQUIREMENTS: 4 years post graduate experience. Contractor background. Relevant degree, preferred but not essential. Experience of ICE 5th and 6th, NEC and Target Cost. Methods of measurement SSM7 and highways form.REMUNERATION: GBP 30,000 per annum. Company car/allowance. Pension Scheme. Private Health.
