: Quantity Surveyor Liverpool Civils and Groundworks MW1-5905 Established for over 30 years my client have earned an enviable reputation as a high quality main contractor in the civils industry. They have a turnover of over GBP 20m a total which has increased year on year. Due to the winning of several new contracts in the Merseyside area they currently have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor. Role The successful candidate will be working on a variety of civils projects in the Liverpool area. You will most likely commence working on the New Build of a Dairy valued at around GBP 2m, my client are responsible for the car park, infrastructure and foundations of the project. Upon completion my client has further projects in highways, water, sewers and groundworks in the area; the projects that you will work on will typically range in value from GBP 1m-GBP 10m and you will be responsible for handling around 4 projects at any one time. Skills You will have a minimum of 4 years Commercial experience You will have a contractor background A civils background is considered essential by my clients It will be advantageous for any prospective candidate if they have highways experience Knowledge of the NEC forms of contract will be an advantage to any candidate Benefits Between GBP 25,000 and GBP 30,000 per annum, depending upon experience Company car/allowance Pension Health Services advertised by Project Resource Ltd are those of an agency and/or an employment business.
