Quantity Surveyor Traditional Construction/East MidlandsThe Client:My client has been established in the UK for over 50 years. They have a number of subsidiary companies within the overallgroup that offer the complete construction solution including contracting, development, consultancy and health and safetyThis position is within the main construction side of the business, they have a current turnover of GBP 40m and due to asignificant amount of project wins turnover is due to rise to GBP 60m in the next yearThe main project areas include education, leisure, public sector (prison frameworks), heritage work (museum and listedbuildings), residential and retail (this is the largest division). Typical project sizes vary between GBP 1m-GBP 16m (averageat GBP 5m)The Role:A Quantity Surveyor is required by my client due to a significant level of project wins between Leicester and NottinghamThese projects include care homes, apartment developments and a small health care centre all of these are valued at upto GBP 5mThis is an ideal opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to run there own projects and have a degree of autonomy fromthe main regional office in Warwickshire.
