This position will be based in Manchesterl so the candidate must be within commutable distance or be willing to relocate. The clients background is in Building Surveying and Project Management.The client is looking for a Senior level QS who is RICS chartered. Applicants will be from a Build Environment as the client only undertakes build projects, and applicants will have some experience of Project Management, although this is not essential. The role that the client is offering is exceptional. This is a chance for a Senior level QS to develop their own team offering cost management services. Candidates with experience of winning new business can expect to at the top of the salary package on offer.This is a new role, where the successful applicant will be able to shape the development of a new QS department, as they will be responsible for recruiting, winning new business, building and refining the QS and cost management services that the client will offer.The career advancement is open to the successful applicant and it is expected that the level of associate director will be reached after 6 months. If you are a RICS chartered Quantity Surveyor this is an opportunity that should not be dismissed lightly.
