About the role.This role encompasses duties across the following key disciplines; Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ).Health & Safety:- Managing all risk assessments and actions.- Writing and managing all Safe Operating Procedures.- Completing annual H&S audits and action outcomes.- Accident reporting investigation.- Report all RIDDOR accidents to HSE and Group.- Near miss investigation and action.- Managing contractors.- Reviewing all risk assessments / methods statements / SOP's.- Issuing and controlling Permits to work.- Maintain computerised records (risk assessments, SOP's, test certificates, training etc).- Manage all behavioural studies and actions arising from them.- Identify H&S training needs and manage training activities (manual handling, FLT, etc).- Manage Fire procedures and systems including a drill every 3 months.- Manage COSHH files for all materials and substances (risk assess, SOP etc).Quality:- Manage ISO registration with Group, BSI and BBA.- Manage Quality Manual and procedures.- Complete all internal audits and supplier audits.- Analyse and action all Customer complaints.- Manage CAR log.- Physical management of non-conforming stock.- Management and annual update of all QC checking sheets and instructions.Environment:- Write new environmental policy and procedures.- Generate and maintain legislative register.- Generate and manage environmental impacts register.- Complete annual audits on all procedures and action outcomes.Who we're looking for.All round experience within 24 x 7 - manufacturing, warehouse & logistics environment.- Focused on results, determined to overcome the obstacles.- Ability to function individually and part of the team, Sort It Out / Finisher.About the employer.Our client is the UK's leading manufacturer of cellular PVC profiles for roofline and cladding applications, a privatelyowned group of companies whose name is known throughout the industry for quality and service.
