: A large manufacturer of Subsea Equipment are looking for a Quality Engineer with at least 5 years experience working in Quality Engineering The successful applicant will be responsible for the verification and approval of Contract Review and Process Control documents, Purchase Orders, Welder Performance Qualifications, weekly workshop quality audits an co-ordination of Third Party Inspectors. The role includes but is not limited to: Reviewing Sales Orders to ensure technical and quality content is correct i.e contract review Sample reviewing critical process routings ensuring they contain correct technical and quality information/detail Liaising with certifying authority/customer inspection representatives to ensure all necessary inspection is undertaken and parts are final released Processing of quality documentation for presentation to the certifying authority /customer inspection representatives to facilitate final release of equipment Reviewing service/production related purchase orders to ensure they contain the correct technical and quality information/detail Controlling/processing welder qualifications ensuring all new/existing Welder qualifications are identified and correctly executed including processing finalised documentation Compiling Manufacturing Quality Plans on mainstream products for customer/certifying authority approval Reviewing and distributing shipping instructions Undertaking and reporting weekly snapshot workshop quality compliance audits Providing cover for QA/QC Supervisor during periods of absence
