QUALITY CONTROLLERSouth Yorkshire to GBP 20,000 p.aOur client is an International leader in the design and supply of high strength steel bars for the building andconstruction industry. Their high quality products are specified by the Architectural and Engineering professions tosupport the worlds most prestigious buildings and civil engineering projects. Projects include the Hungerford Bridge inLondon, the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and many of the stadia for the Euro 2004 championships in Portugal. To maintainand build on their reputation for quality and delivery there is now an opportunity for a high caliber Quality Controllerto join the Production Team.Reporting to the Quality Manager, this will be a key role responsible for QA auditing within the manufacturing facilityand for inbound inventory. You will also undertake all necessary testing to meet regulatory requirements and industrybest practice. On a day-to-day basis you will actively support continuous improvement through the recommendation ofprocedural changes to enhance productivity and efficiency without compromise to quality.To apply you will ideally be HNC/HND qualified with a proven track record in Quality Control/ Quality Assurance in asimilarly demanding manufacturing environment. Above all you will be a diligent, systems and process oriented individualwith at least 3 years experience in quality related roles. The position also offers good promotional prospects intoQuality Management in the future.
