Quality Control Manager - NW, Ref: 12713 MCOur NW based client manufactures a range of speciality and fine chemicals for an array of industry uses on a contract,custom or toll manufacture basis, including pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates.They are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager to manage their Analytical Services Laboratory and provide aneffective service to both internal and external customers.The main responsibilities for this role will be: -- Ensure all activities are carried in a safe manner- Provide analytical support for raw material, 'in process' and finished product samples- Develop new analytical methods to support new product introductions- Ensure that quality standards are maintained and that products meet specifications- Manage a small analytical team- Liase / communicate with customersThe successful candidate will be educated to Degree level and must have significant analytical and relevant industrialexperience. He she MUST have excellent hands on instrumentation skills using HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, IR and UV. In addition he/ she must be able to trouble shoot and solve analytical problems.This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to GBP 30000 (depending on skills and experience)
