QUALITY/ CONFIGURATION MANAGER WITH CMMI EXPERIENCE SORT FOR WORCESTERSHIRE CLIENTOur client requires a Quality / Configuration Manager to direct and enforce good practises within the Business Group and prepare projects within the Communications Business Centre for Capability Maturity Model (CMMI) accreditation. The product allows satellite operators to maintain the integrity of their service by geolocating sources of satellite interference. Software is PC based C and C++, using Microsoft Visual C++ studio and third party GUI support for some interface components. The hardware uses a COTS system of PCs, ADCs and an RF down-conversion system. You will work as part of a close-knit team focused on efficient development and production of quality systems for global distribution. You will witness testing and maintain appropriate quality and/or configuration procedures / records. You will have experience of performing reviews and audits of hardware and software from a quality perspective. Software engineering background highly desirable.
