Our Client is a is looking for a number of Quantity Surveyors to join them on current projects based in London and the South East. The roles will assist Commercial Managers to optimise the margin on a project, whilst protecting against commercial risk. Full job description Duties will include the full range of Commercial Management functions including, but not limited to:Input into the management of:- application and credit control processes- income- change control system - project and business risk- all processes with regard to costing and forecasting- the full sub-contract cycle (Procurement to Final Account)- the development of team spirit and trustworthiness within Project Commercial Team and with Client and subcontractors- dispute resolution- Commercial Services- the development of Training plansProduction of Cost To Complete and local Management Accounts.Provision of basic commercial advice to Project Team.Communications within the Project Commercial Team and with the Project Team.Essential Skills The successful applicants are likely to be degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent and possess 4-6 years relevant experience, working in a contracting commercial department.
