Forward thinking and innovative, the company are one of the market leaders within the Automotive sector andprovide excellent working conditions and career prospects.ROLE:As the Capital Buyer you will be responsible for the management of Capital Investments and the development of commercialand contractual relationships with a number of suppliers.Specifically, you will be involved in buying plant and machinery and other investments and working closely with a widevariety of internal customers.The role will encompass all elements of the procurement process including:-- Developing strategies for capital procurement.- Identify potential suppliers and support supplier visits/audits to assess capability.- Leading bid and tender projects for capital procurement in conjunction with engineers and other internal customers.- Account management of suppliers involving significant interaction with engineers and other internal customers.- Producing summary reports, analysis and proposals to senior management.IDEAL PERSON:You must be familiar with sourcing capital equipment purchases and understand all key stages within a high valueprocurement process. You must have a minimum of 2 yearsexperience in a similar role.- You should have strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.- Ideally, you will have a CIPS qualification either part/fully qualified.- Influential- Creative- Flexible- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.DISCIPLINE:Supply Chain & Procurement
