: This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation within the Defence industry. They are currently looking for a Proposals Manager to manage the organisation, production and timely delivery of high quality, responsive bids. Your main tasks and responsibilities will involve:  Managing the preparation of proposals and the bid programme  Managing the Proposals team (Bid Writers, Media etc.)  Co-ordinating and managing resources from across the group to support tenders  Contributing to negotiations with clients  Working with Business Development Managers to identify business opportunities  Assisting in the development of bidding strategies  Managing the Business Acquisition procedures ensuring regular & timely review  Managing business/market intelligence The successful candidate will have a track record of producing successful proposals, as well as proven experience of the defence industry. Education to degree level (either technical or business) is important, as well as excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of commercial and estimating issues.
