: Project Quantity Surveyor Structural Steel Lancashire MW1-6169 My client are a regional contractor based in Lanacashire who work on the structural steel element of main contractors projects such as commercial newbuilds and luxury housing as well as working on their own projects including warehouses and bridges. At present the company has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in their Lancashire office and together we are looking for: A quantity surveyor with a minimum of 5 years experience within the construction industry, both surveying and dealing with contracts, and ideally at least 3 of the 5 years working within the structural steelwork sector. Working knowledge and experience of contract law, warranties, contractual documentation, and negotiations. The role has been pre-defined to involve the following: Running projects and directly controlling the timely and profitable execution of contracts. Attending production, site progress, design and launch meeting as appropriate. Reporting directly to the Financial Director, and working alongside the relevant Project Managers. The company expect to pay in the region of GBP 30,000 per annum for the right candidate, and the successful candidate will also receive additional benefits inclusive of a company car or allowance, pension and health scheme.
