Project QS / Experienced Assistant QS GBP Negotiable SalaryBased Middx / West LondonLooking for something a little different that can offer an excellent long-term career opportunity?Due to expansion a leading UK contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work within a division specialising in fast track projects up to circa GBP 600k. Projects are predominantly office refurbishment and fit outs but can also include roofing and cladding projects along with the occasional small new build.Working within a 'partnering environment' and initially working alongside a Senior QS you will possess the ability and desire to take the division forward and build a team to manage. This is an office based role but will require occasional site visits and the number of 'live' projects can currently vary from 1 to 6 but there are plans to increase this along with the team you build.From a main contracting background your project experience is irrelevant but being involved with the pricing (working from a schedule of rates), procurement and final accounts you will be QS who as well as being self disciplined is able to communicate well and build long-term relationships.
