Our client is one of the top 10 construction companies in Scotland, with a regional office in Edinburgh, the company currently has a wide portfolio of live projects including the South East Wedge in Edinburgh, Waverley Railway project and many more.They operate across all industry sectors including but not limited to Urban regeneration, further/higher education, health sector, mixed use developments and transportation.As a result of their consistent and sustained growth they are seeking experienced Project Managers to take on a Senior project Management role. A broad range of experience is required although significant experience in the rail/transportation sector would be an advantage but not essential. Candidates should have gained direct experience in larger scale projects (above GBP 15m) and be able to demonstrate an understanding of key risks and challenges. You will be effective in liaising effectively with the contractors on site to ensure the job is done satisfactorily. You will be a strong team leader and player.Ideally with a construction related qualification, you will be a highly experienced project manager with a proven track record in project delivery, able to demonstrate significant experience of full project life cycle from business case to completion, including contract administration
