DUTIES:Include the following but other duties may be assigned:- Reports to the Senior Manager Projects & Engineering. To be able to assess commercial and contractual aspects/risks of the project, and manage them to protect the companysfinancial and technical exposure. To ensure the implementation of quality and safety plans in accordance with Company, the client, and statutoryrequirements. To ensure sufficient allocation and organisation of resources, in conjunction with the other Projects & Engineeringgroup Managers and Leads, in order to achieve the project milestones within the required timeframe. Consultative and Teamapproach essential. To manage project deliverables to meet customer requirements and WIL revenue targets/cash flow position. To document and circulate project decisions, plans, methods and execution policies. To ensure that project management reports, progress reports and schedules are produced in accordance with Companyprocedures and contractual requirements. To ensure that all project operations are carried out in accordance with the applicable Company procedures and anyapplicable client and statutory requirements. Conduct assessment of Project Non-Conformances and assist the Quality Representative with closing out thoseNon-Conformances. To ensure that suitably qualified personnel are engaged to meet the requirements of the project. To co-ordinate and support the work of the Company project management team members. To ensure that the project is completed safely, in accordance with the schedule and within budget. To contribute in the development of project engineering members. Perform any other duties as directed by the Senior Manager Projects & Engineering.QUALIFICATIONS: A suitable degree in structural, marine, naval or mechanical engineering; or suitable experience with strongtechnical skills and understanding. Preferably a Chartered Engineer High level of man management skills (interviewing, hiring, directing teamwork levels, appraising competence andperformance, resolving and diffusing team complaints or problems, rewarding and disciplining employees) Outstanding interpersonal, communication and computer skills are essential Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to present information to top management, the client or othergroups.EXPERIENCE: 7 to 10+ years experience in project engineering/management of which 3 to 5 years is in pipeline/offshore relatedprojects.
