PROJECT MANAGER (Engineering)This position offers the benefits of working for a leading engineering consultancy in their specialist area involved inthe Petro Chem industry. World wide projects offer a very interesting and stimulating challenge for an experiencedProject Engineer.You will report directly to the MD for the management, control, planning, scheduling, budget and technical content foreach assigned contract by way of the latest issue of designs, standards and specifications.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Review of Client Purchase Order and attachments, together with all Sales Handover documentation.2. The issue of job instructions to each of the internal departments and specialists.3. The development of Programmes and Quality Plans.4. The drafting of all material, fabrication and equipment purchase order requisitions and specifications.5. Review and approval of all sub-contractor bids, including the technical aspects in respect to the requirement of theparticular purchase order requisition/specification and expediting.6. The compilation and control of necessary contract variations, status reports, shipping lists, Erection Instructionsand Installation, Start-Up and Maintenance Instructions.7. Be the main point of contact with Client, and where appropriate, Seller, in all phases of the Project .8. Liaison with Clients site management team and Company Construction Manager/Supervisor in respect to Contractsinvolving erection.9. Driving the Jobs commercial policy and control of Job budgets.10. Review/compilation/distribution company and seller documentation. |
