Job Description1. Job Purpose:Responsible for the safe, profitable, successful and effective delivery of projects and ensuring client satisfaction andcontinued business.2. Accountabilities: Responsible for the Health & Safety , environmental issues and CDM compliance throughout the lifecycle ofproject Accountable for the satisfactory execution of the project ensuring client needs are fulfilled in terms ofproduction demands and expectations Responsible for the development and execution of the project construction programme, and delivery of agreedproject profit plan Project team leader ensuring the whole project team, (i.e. client, contractors and BLL), all work effectivelyand enthusiastically together, to deliver a successful project To ensure that that the necessary technical resources are available and input to ensure a fully compliantfacility is provided Accountable for the commercial success of design and build project Main point of contract acting as an ambassador for the Company during the life-cycle of the project and beyond Development and delivery of feasibility studies and detailed design projects Effect delivery of construction projects at site Evaluation of proposal of schemes to suit client requirements Provide project evaluations and cost proposals to client Liaise with clients, developing ongoing positive relationships Providing continuing support to the client after the project is completed Review and negotiate subcontractor accounts and agree final payment figures3. Organisation4 Dimensions:Financial: Responsible for projects within the range of GBP 150,000 to GBP 20,000,000Staff: Typically up to 25 staff, (project dependent)Other: Typically, responsible for managing 2 to 3 projects at any one time.5. Knowledge Skills and Experience: E/DUnderstanding of the statutory requirements for EH+S EEmbrace, support and motivate the principles of IIF EUnderstanding of the requirements of cGMP and FDA EFamiliar with Pharmaceutical processes DPractical background in construction and construction techniques EGood communication and interpersonal skills EQualified to a technical discipline, (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, etc) EEffective team leader and team player EOrganisation and planning skills EFamiliar with requirements for project delivery EFamiliar with company procedures and documentation DProfessional and confident manner with client ECost aware and bottom-line driven ECommercial competent EOutgoing, friendly personality.
