This is a new role working for a new start up company who are a well financed spin-off of a larger parent company. Theyare seeking an experienced Programme Office Manager in the Pharmaceutical sector to set up and manage their programmemanagement office.Key responsibilities:This key role will provide support to manage and control the programme on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all deliveryprojects remain integrated and aligned. Specific responsibilities will include:Programme Management Office - Implementing and running an effective Programme Management Office, to act as the'executive office' to the directors through the provision of programme delivery advice and valuable insight.Programme Integration - Integration and proactive management of cross programme plans and dependencies to ensure plansremain realistic and issues/potential conflicts are surfaced and resolved.Programme Methodologies - Developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards and controls, includingdrafting procedures and providing advice and training to the wider programme team. In the first instance this willinclude:Integrated Planning - Definition and maintenance of the baseline programme level plan. The Programme Management Officewill track project delivery and schedule variance for all projects within the venture programme.Management Reporting - Definition and operation of the Programme reporting cycle. The Programme Management Office willassimilate programme information and conduct detailed analyses to ensure timely and accurate delivery of programmeinformation to all interested stakeholders.Programme Control Processes - Definition and operation of the management processes and controls required to deliver asuccessful Programme, including facilitation of risk and value management for project delivery teams.They are especially keen on someone who has experience of start-up environments and building new relationships.
