As a result of expansion and the desire to make the supply chain function and distribution networkeven better, they are creating the role of Productivity Manager.This is a senior appointment reporting to the Head of Distribution Support Operations who in turn reports into theDistribution Director for this blue chip retailer of both food and non food products.As part of our Clients Continuous Improvement Programme, our Client is committed to a Six Sigma project across theirsupply chain and distribution centre network and as a result is looking for a very strong lead Six Sigma Black Belt whocan quickly progress into a Master Black Belt position. You will use various tools to achieve improve process performanceand cost reduction across our clients physical distribution operations.Skills:Ideally you will have a degree in logistics / supply chain or in an engineering discipline, ideally supported byexperienced gained in a blue chip company in manufacturing or retail.You will be proven in delivering solutions and process evolution and have the drive and ambition to take on this multi -dimensional role.What is absolutely key is that you must be process orientated and have experience of delivering Six Sigma projects and inrespect of that should hold a black belt or be a master black belt holder.Combining a strong quality focus with keen business acumen, you will be used to beating KPIs on a regular basis and theprospect of coping with the demands of an ever-changing environment will be viewed as a challenge, not a problem.As an expert in your field you will have the proactive ability to challenge existing practices and drive through changeto benefit the business.Excellent analytical, organisation and communication skills coupled with influencing skills and teamwork, will alreadyhave ensured your success.Career prospects are truly exceptional within this blue chip client and the successful candidate must be able todemonstrate they have the ability to move up to Director status.Salary is negotiable but likely to be within a range of GBP 60-75k plus bonus, quality car and other excellent benefits.Note:To be employed in the United Kingdom you need to have all proper documentation which allows you the legal right to workin the UK.
