Our client seeks a Production Systems Engineer with an honours degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar and 4 years industrial experience in a relevant role. You will lead a small team of Engineers and Technicians to continuously improve product design, yield and performance margin and provide timely solutions to issues encountered in production. ROLE: Technical ownership of a sub-system once transferred to production with emphasis on continuous improvement of products ensuring suitability for high volume manufacture. Work within a team alongside electrical and mechanical engineers, quality and production. Understand the workings and the design of: RF/Microwave Low Noise Amplifier, Cavity filter combiners. Solid understanding of microwave and RF theory and cellular radio. Knowledge of communication standards and their influence on system hardware. RF/Microwave filters (printed filters, cavity filters, Hybrid combiners, Isolators, Couplers, Splitters, Microelectronics (micro-controllers and embedded SW), RF Power measurement, VSWR measurement. International travel essential.
