Description:

Our client, a world leader in advanced materials technology, are looking to recruit Production Operatives for variousdepartments at their Hertfordshire site.The roles will involve working a 38-hour week Monday to Friday on a shift system, with over-time as and when required bythe business. Specific responsibilities will depend on the department but all will be based in a production environment.Typical duties include operating various machines, inspection, as well as some manual handling. Mechanical aptitude andawareness would be an advantage, as would previous experience in light engineering.Suitable candidates should have GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent, be a flexible team player as well as able to worksafely under pressure, and multi-task in a busy team-working atmosphere. You should also be numerate with a strongmechanical and technical aptitude; previous experience in a production environment, especially the metal workingindustry, is desirable. We are also interested in hearing from candidates with ACT process experience as we also haveopportunities in this area.Successful candidates will receive GBP 16,000 - GBP 17,000, an attractive pension scheme, share plan, and free lunch,subsidised gym membership and childcare vouchers as well as 5 weeks annual holiday.
