Our client seeks a Production Mechanical Engineer to develop assembly improvements and process changes to improve product yields for cellular phone base station equipment and provide timely solutions to issues encountered in production. Work within a small team of Engineers and Technicians to continuously improve product design, yield and reduced scrap. You will have an honours degree and HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar along with an understanding of Limits and fits, materials, medium and high volume manufacturing processes. Familiarity with 2D - 3D drawing packages. Preferred: Background in manufacturing or quality and an understanding of ETSI, Bellcore, UL and CE requirements.
