Production/Manufacturing EngineerAn exciting opportunity for a highly motivated production/manufacturing engineer to join a worldwide supplier of AnalysisSolutions, based in East Sussex. There are 2 positions currently available 1 in the analysers department and 1 intransducers department.You will be required to lead and progress the continuous improvement initiatives being introduced in to Manufacturing.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your prime responsibilities will be to initiate, co-ordinate and monitorengineering processes in production, identifying and introducing new manufacturing technologies and facilitating thedevelopment of manufacturing processes.Your qualifications for this role will include:-- a degree or equivalent in engineering, production or manufacturing, and/or a proven record in either anelectromechanical/instrument manufacturing environment.- at least 2 years' experience in a similar environment (For those without strong qualifications you must have atleast 5years experience in lean manufacturing)- SAP skills (preferred)You will be a self-starter, a proven team player with an ability to make decisions.In return you will receive a salary between GBP 21k and GBP 28k , 25 days holiday, pension, life insurance.
