Middlesex based for this major electronics company with regular visits to the Cambridge office.Main responsibilities include;Ensuring Manufacturing Cell fully adheres to company 5C initiative,Implementing controls to ensure Six Sigma process capability, throughout production cycle,Implementing and maintaining statistical process monitoring,Direct team responsibility for generating, reviewing and updating manufacturing documentation for new and existingproducts,To assist Design and Engineering functions, ensuring that all new products are created in a structured way to allow amore efficient build,Development and establishment of robust standard processes,Responsible for liaison with subcontractors, ensuring robust end-to-end processes and controls are deployed, via theapplication of Lean Manufacturing principals and systems within the supply chain, also undertaking supplier auditing andassessment,Creation of manufacturing plans for new product introduction,Responsible for control and selection of tooling, components and chemicals within the manufacturing cell.You will be an experienced degree qualified individual, preferably with 2:1/2:2 in Manufacturing subject, and/or in-depthrelevant experience. Membership of professional body such as IOM, IEE, IMechE a distinct advantage.You will also be a proactive Manager with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with proven experience ofteam development and have extensive proven management expertise in Lean implementation and lead-time reduction.
