: Your role as Production Engineer will be to manage the production of units via internal & external resources, maintain and implement where necessary procedures to maintain a stable production environment; from goods-in through product delivery to full traceability & tracking. You will be responsible for supplier management, some site management & logistics responsibilities. You will give customer support and be involved in general on site activities; design, testing, development and system integration into customer's process. Your role will also include short bespoke evaluation trials both on-site and off-site and carrying out product improvement through both in-house testing and customer evaluation. With at least 3 years experience in a production environment and with a strong mechanical/production engineering background, experience in process related industries would be an advantage. You should have experience with use/programming LabView software and in 3D CAD packages together with machining experience. You must be practical minded, with hands-on aptitude and excellent communication skills with a 'can do' attitude and drive and commitment to maintain a project's momentum.
