An Engineering Degree or equivalent. More than five years post graduate experience in an eletro/electro mechanicalenvironment. Formal Management training (e.g. DMS, CMI,etc.). In-depth knowledge of the latest production techniquesNeeds to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to provide strong leadership to the ProductionEngineering group. Considerable knowledge and experience of production processes is required in order to be able toadvise team members and design and development engineers on manufacturability problems. Good problem solving skills.Experience of Work Study and Production engineering in electronics manufacturing company. Personnel managementexperience. Awareness of MoD contract condition requirements. Your role will be to lead the Production Engineering team,ensuring best practice is employed in product introduction and workflow. Responsible for elements of the Industry costcentre budget totalling GBP 4M. Direct management of 8 Production Engineers Shared responsibility of 90 staff within theIndustry Department, as a member of the Industry Management Team.
