Description:

Our Surrey based client has one of the most advanced electrical safety testing and certification systems in the world. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a test engineer to carry out tests on domestic appliances to British, European and International electrical safety standards.(Such as EN, IEC, UL & CSA), using relevant equipment and techniques. You will ensure results are compatible with the standards of quality and performance laid down by the company by producing neat, concise, complete and accurate notes/reports of the tests within the framework of laboratory procedures. You should also have good communication skills to liaise with customers and be educated to at least HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related. This role could suit someone who has either previously liaised with test houses or has worked in an environment that includes testing to component level (e.g. production/service/repair)
