The ideal candidate will be an established marketing professional who possess the following essential skills andexperience An IT-related degree (and preferably an MBA). At least 5 years of software-based product marketing experience. Understanding of key technologies and markets. Strong skills in market analysis, definition and roll out of marketing programmes and marketing communications. A good understanding of competitive forces and trendsThey will ideally be a member of a recognised marketing industry body and will have participated in industry conferencesand events, with the necessary interpersonal skills to coordinate major activities. Strong presentation skills areessential as you will need to be comfortable in presenting to large customers and sales organisations, and you will beexpected to interface directly with customers, prospects, the press and industry analysts.
