An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join a forward thinking globalorganisation within their Strategic Marketing and MIS Vision Division.The key purpose of this role for the successful candidate will be to undertake activities to position the organisationsreporting products within the worldwide marketplace.Other more specific responsibilities and accountabilities of this role include: To plan and manage roll out of future versions of the organisations reporting products. To be the product evangelist to both internal and external audiences. To assess future and current market needs for product and identify product elements for inclusion in the product lineplan. To contribute to initial scoping documents of high level business requirements and ensure the final product meetscustomer and market requirements. To deal with day to day commercial issues arising from sales activities To assist the field marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral and marketing campaigns. To monitor customer reception of the assigned product elements.In carrying out all of the above, the person filling the role shall at all times act in accordance with the companysbusiness strategy and Quality Policy, and in compliance with all corporate and departmental policies, procedures, andother requirements as defined in the companys Business Objectives, Policies and Procedures documents (BOPPs).Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies Required: 5 years product marketing and/or pre-sales experience. At least 2 years experience of a current business intelligence product (such as Crystal Reports, Actuate, Cognos,etc.). Knowledge of a financial and/or ERP application. Good general knowledge of Business Intelligence market/trends. Ability to research, define and prioritise key product requirements. Good communication and presentation skills.Under Special circumstances the successful candidate may be required to travel to other SU offices and locations aroundthe world to meet the requirements of the role and so must be willing and able to do so. |
