Description:

You will be responsible for sourcing books and product for a number of our niche interest clubs to maximise sales revenueand new member acquisition.You will need to be able to understand and keep up-to-date with market influences, trends andopportunities, source strong product and suppliers, negotiate prices, create club sales promotion from concept to print;write hard working copy, proofread and work closely with designers. You will also need experience in creating, monitoringand achieving sales budgets, as well as producing analysis reports, managing stock and the drive to ensure allprocedures, schedules and deadlines are adhered to.Ideally you will be educated to degree level or possess a marketingqualification and have at least 3 years experience within a relevant environment. An excellent knowledge of MicrosoftExcel, Word and Outlook is essential, as well as good communications skills. You will also need to be enthusiastic, ableto work under pressure and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
