Description:

The principal accountabilities of this role are to introduce new, complex & innovative products to the market and tosecure long-term revenue for the business. You will also develop internal products to hedge complex risk.Principal Accountabilities;*Create new & innovative products & methods for managing risk wihin the growing complex supply contract segment of thebusiness market*provide bespoke deal support for Business Development*To project manage the product development process, liaising with all relevant stakeholders*Manage the development of pricing models*key contact for sales to deliver the right products*Attend customer meetings*keep abreast of industry developmentsKnowledge & skills should include:*Excensive Excel*strong numeric skills ideally with numerate degree*detailed understanding of wholesale power and/or gas market rules including high level principles for traded productssuch as financial derivatives & options*Prefable to have knowledge of LECs, Carbon and ROCs*experience of implementing systems & processes*high commercial awareness*ability to communicate at all levels
