: Our client is involved in the design & manufacture of displays. They are seeking a Process Engineer/Manager to take ownership of printed electronics/electroluminescent manufacturing line. The responsibilities of the Process Engineer/Manager will include Project Management & development of new printed electronics manufacturing line; Maintaining and continuously improving existing process capability and yield; Identify, specify, evaluate, characterise and commission new equipment to maximise manufacturing capability and yield and improve efficiency and effectiveness; Develop new processes for new product lines and develop/implement SPC and Six Sigma practices. PLEASE NOTE THE SKILLS/BACKGROUND REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB: The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of 2.1 at BSc level in Physics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar subject area and have at least 5 years experience in a SMT/SMD, wafer fab, hybrid or printed electronics manufacturing/engineering environment. Hands-on commissioning experience, in conjunction with Project Management, SPC and ideally Green Belt level Six Sigma or above is required, coupled with programming skills (e.g. LabView, Visual Basic etc) and computer literacy.
