Description:

The role will involve giving integrated environmental advice to clients and other professional colleagues whilemotivating and inspiring confidence in your team. Specific duties will include responsibility for the delivery of a rangeof landscape planning and regeneration services which will include specialist fields such as EIA activities, landscapecharacter assessment, development control advice and strategic landscape advice.The role will also involve co-ordinating the work of the team while overseeing the work of the whole section and ensuringthat all advice and work are delivered to the highest possible standard and within regulations. The successful candidatewill be expected to develop the existing team and support the growth and financial viability of the teams service.Applicants must be a Chartered Landscape Architect with a minimum of eight years previous experience, which should haveinvolved at least two years line management. A proven ability to lead and inspire a team is essential as is experience ofgiving evidence at public enquiries.
