Description:

Experienced degree qualified individual, preferably with 2:1 / 2:2 in Manufacturing subject, and / or in-depth relevantexperience. Membership of professional body such as IOM, IEE, IMechE a distinct advantage. Exceptional Manager with theability to communicate effectively at all levels, with the capability to manage Manufacturing Engineering function.Extensive expertise in modern Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques, such as Kanban, Process Control, Six Sigma, Causeand Effect, Ishikawa, FMEA, QFD, Standard Processes, Value Stream Mapping, Theory of Constraints and PerformanceMeasurement. Will have thorough understanding of MRP / ERP systems. Experience of supplier negotiation and developmentactivities, focusing on cost and lead-time reduction. Deployment of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques, such asKanban. Must be PC literate with good IT skills, and experience of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word andPowerPoint.
