Description:

Principal IT Engineer applications. Degree + 7 years in computer system support, incl 3 years in a multi-national role inlarge distributed computing environment responsible for MS Windows operating systems engineering & configuration on aglobal scale. Specific requirements include Windows 2000 or XP workstation on desktop / laptop platforms, Windows 2000 /2003 on server platforms. Desktop / laptop and server hardware selection, testing & specification. Expert in MS Windowsoperating systems, MS Office, Internet explorer, Adobe Acrobat configuration & Windows Terminal Server or CitrixWinFrame, Metaframe client configuration. Microsoft MUI environment also useful. Experience in Windows SMS 2.0 or 2003.MCSE certifications in Windows Workstation, Windows Server (2000/2003), MS Office, Microsoft Systems Management Server2.0 or 2003. 5 years experience NT workstation / server, 1 year XP, 3 years Windows 2000/2003 server, 5 years MS Office,1 year Windows terminal server or Citrix Winframe / Metaframe environment. 1 year operational experience in an MS SMSenvironment. 2 years hardware & software testing. Experience in a highly regulated computing environment, prefpharmaceutical industry. Familiar with computer systems validation in the GxP environment, HIPAA, EMEA, FDA & EuropeanData Privacy Act. Good presentation skills, able to participate in international meetings & workshops. Able to give inputto strategic plans for projects that impact multiple countries.
