We require a chartered graduate with 10 years experience in highway design and management, fully conversant with the DMRB Standards and SHW. The ability to use MX and ACAD is seen as a desirable requirement for the successful applicant. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of site based construction and supervision, and (essential) of office based management/team leader of design (and also of previous independent design) of highways and junctions including signing, lining and safety barriers. Knowledge and appreciation of highway drainage would be an advantage but not an essential requirement. Candidates with longer experience (over 15 years) and IEng qualified may be considered for this position. Experience of current HA forms of procurement and/or ECI involvement would be a distinct advantage.Key CompetenciesQualifications: Degree qualified with an civil/structural engineering related degree Chartered Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in highway design and management
