Principal Consultant - c.GBP 70,000 + Excellent BenefitsThey are looking for an individual who wants to use their technical and commercial experience as a Principal Consultantworking with pharmaceutical and Medtech companies, principally addressing their clients' needs in researching developingand launching break- through products and therapeutics.Principal Consultants are expected to participate in all aspects of the Business Units work, which includes:Creating awareness of the businessDeveloping new relationships with prospective clientsManaging and growing existing relationshipsProposal preparationProject managementDelivering professional services assignmentsDue diligence assignmentsInnovation managementMarket entry strategyTechnology strategy and implementationLicencing and partneringR & D performance improvementPrincipal Consultants are expected to be equally active in selling and delivering work.Their clients range from the largest blue chip companies to pre-IPO stage businesses. We also work extensively with theinvestment community. Our business is centred primarily in the UK and Northern Europe; however there will also beconsiderable scope for international work further afield, particularly in the USA.RequirementsYou should have a minimum of a good degree in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology or related area,and either a PhD or an MBA. Strong commercial experience coupled to an analytical approach is essential with at leastfive years experience in the industry.
