Support the Team Manager in the Management of the team including, supervision of some staff, hold a small caseload of complex cases, promote councils Equal Ops Policy. To work with colleagues to achieve Service Plans/Objectives/Targets, participate in Staff Appraisals. To liaise on a regular basis with the Child Protection Chair, Quality Assurance & Performance Manager, Chair Meetings and be available for Supervision as and when required and prepare for supervisory sessions as required by the Team Manager. To identify cases with relevant managers that require Child Protection investigation under Section 47 Childrens Care Act 1989, to deputise for the Team Manager in their absence, to provide reports to Court and any other meetings as necessary, provide supervision, case consultation and guidance to Team Members as agreed with the Team Manager.
